Shaping a ten year national facilities plan.

In 2006, Kaiser Permanente was the largest healthcare builder in California, entering a $25 billion, ten year facilities program across eight national regions, without a standardized way to deliver a building over $10 million. Every project ran its own way, and leadership could not compare one project's health to another's.

Working with Kaiser's senior leadership, the firm built the capital project gate review standard: a uniform sequence of required project activities, separated by reviews, with the health of every project validated at each gate before it advanced. The same questions asked of every project, every time, so the program could see itself and act early.

That discipline, rebuilt for the AI era, is the foundation of the firm's capital programs practice.
