The new Stanford Hospital at 500 Pasteur Drive opened to its first patients in November 2019: 824,000 square feet designed by Rafael Viñoly Architects, 368 private patient rooms, a Level 1 trauma center, and 10,000 daily users.

Firenze led the technology activation across five years of the program, coordinating vendors across clinical engineering, IT, construction, legal, and executive leadership. The scope ran from the building management system and the low voltage systems that feed it, through enterprise asset management, security platforms, and the environmental health and safety connections to local and state agencies. Delivered on schedule.
